Top Black Friday Deals

The shopping craze has started in the United States for this holiday season, so we wanted to do a single post that shows all the best deals we were able to find for our readers. We will be updating this article several times today and we are planning to do another post for the “Cyber Monday”, but only if there is anything worth posting. There are a few great deals going on today, but not anything particularly great from Nikon (sadly), aside from their lower-end DX and CX offers. Sony has some great mirrorless deals and Canon also has a few good lens and camera deals that might be of interest.

Nikon

Here are the top specials worth mentioning for today from Nikon:

1. Nikon 1 S1 with 11-27.5mm kit lens for $149 ($200 off). A great deal for the 1″ CX sensor camera.
2. Nikon Coolpix A for $579. Was quite overpriced before and now it is worth looking at.
3. Nikon D3200 with 18-55mm and 55-200mm kit lenses for $496.95 ($280 off). Another great offer for the previous generation entry-level Nikon DSLR.
4. Nikon D3300 with 18-55mm kit lens for $496.95 ($150 off). If you don’t care for the second lens, this one is the current generation entry-level Nikon DSLR.
5. Nikon D5200 with 18-140mm kit lens for $796.95 ($400 off)
6. Nikon D610 for $1,596.95 ($400 off). A great deal on a full-frame camera!
7. Nikon D750 with 24-120mm VR lens for $2,996.95 ($600 off). This deal has been out for a while just like the D610 deal, but will be expiring tomorrow.

All existing deals we have previously highlighted are still on and those are probably going to be good for the season, with potentially a couple of extra deals happening here and there. These “Buy Together and Save” best deals require purchasing a camera to get the lens deals, so they might not be suitable if you already own a Nikon DSLR. However, if you are looking for a new camera, or perhaps want to gift one to someone in your family, this combination offer has pretty much every camera Nikon produces from D3200 all the way to D4s, with instant savings on each camera. My personal favorites as far as lens savings are concerned are the following:

1. Nikkor 70-200mm f/4G for $996.95 ($400 off) – without a doubt, the best deal for a killer lightweight lens
2. Nikkor 70-300mm VR for $386.95 ($200 off)
3. Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G Lens for $516.95 ($80 off) – review will be posted this week
4. Nikkor 14-24mm and 24-70mm f/2.8G for $300 off each and 70-200mm f/2.8G for $400 off

Canon

Canon also has a similar “Buy Together and Save” deals as Nikon that span everything from Canon Digital Rebel T3i to Canon 5D Mark III, but their lens savings are only limited to kit lenses for the most part. Here are some of the best deals from Canon:

1. Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM for $299 ($300 off)
2. Canon EOS Rebel T5 with 18-55mm IS II for $399 ($150 off)
3. Canon EOS Rebel T5i with 18-55mm IS STM for $649 ($200 off)
4. Canon EOS 6D has a $300 mail-in rebate, bringing the price down to $1,599
5. Canon EOS-1D X has a $800 mail-in rebate, bringing the price down to $5,999

Sony

Sony has some great mirrorless offers that are worth looking into:

1. Sony A7 for $1,298 ($400 off) – with the Sony A7 II out, Sony is heavily discounting its predecessor
2. Sony A5000 with 16-50mm kit lens for $298 ($200 off) – this is one of those “wow” deals, considering that you are getting a great mirrorless camera with an APS-C sensor
3. Sony A6000 with 16-50mm kit lens for $598 ($200 off)

Memory Cards

Lots of memory card deals from SanDisk, Lexar, Sony and Transcend:

1. SanDisk Savings up to $60 off per card
2. Lexar Savings up to 60% off per card
3. Sony Savings up to $57 off per card
4. Transcend Savings up to $20 off per card
